Poll: Who won the 4th GOP presidential debate?

Published Fri, 14 Feb 2025 00:33:39 GMT

(NEXSTAR) – Now that the leading Republican candidates – with the notable exception of Donald Trump – have faced off Wednesday night in the fourth GOP presidential debate in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, we want to know who you think won./**/Was it Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis who a NewsNation/Decision Desk HQ poll released Monday showed to be the frontrunner behind former President Donald Trump (albeit at a distant 11%, some 50 points behind Trump)?Or was it former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, who the same poll found to be just one point behind DeSantis? Perhaps a strong showing by Vivek Ramaswamy (6%) or former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (3%) gave them the edge as they work to carve out support from the block of undecided voters and sway those backing their fellow presidential hopefuls.Former President Trump's lead in the polls is so great that the former president opted not to attend any of the three previous debates. Trump said on Wednesday he will be hosting a closed-doo...

You do this at every debate,” Christie said. Kiszla: Does coach Sean Payton trust Russell Wilson to get the Broncos in the end zone, much less the playoffs?

Published Fri, 14 Feb 2025 00:33:39 GMT

If Sean Payton needs his quarterback to see the game through the coach’s eyes, Russell Wilson is the wrong guy to be running the Denver offense. This sticky problem goes beyond the way Wilson and Payton process plays and analyze the game in real time.  What we’re witnessing is nothing less than a minor football miracle, because during this remarkable 5-1 stretch of success that has pushed the Broncos back in playoff contention, I sometimes wonder if this quarterback and this coach are even watching the same game. While Wilson preaches faith that a struggling Denver offense is thisclose to a happy breakout of touchdown dances, Payton grouses about “chaos” in the red zone and laments receiver Jerry Jeudy has reason to be frustrated after repeatedly being undetected by his quarterback as he runs wide open down the field. With not another misstep allowed against four AFC foes left on their schedule, the Broncos worked Wednesday on strategy to beat the Los Angeles Chargers.
